Common questions.

How much is a facial?

Our facial treatments are priced based on individual needs, so we require your age and a makeup-free picture of your face in good lighting to determine the best treatment for you. However, here's a general pricing range:

  • Teenager facial (age 25 and below): $160

  • Age 25 and up: $200 - $240

  • Age 35 and up: $240 - $280

Please provide your details, and we'll offer you an exact treatment recommendation and price.

Is a facial a one-time treatment or does it require follow-up sessions?

Each person's face is unique, and the frequency of facials can vary greatly. In the case of teenagers, it is often necessary to address the accumulation of toxins, which can be a significant undertaking that requires time to see noticeable improvements.

It is quite common, especially in the beginning, to schedule regular follow-up facial sessions. These appointments serve to consistently cleanse and purify the skin, allowing for a gradual improvement. By adopting a healthier diet, minimizing exposure to toxins, and utilizing appropriate skincare products you can gradually reduce the need for frequent facials.

Over time, as your skin improves and becomes more balanced, it is possible that 1-2-3-4 facials per year will be sufficient for maintenance and to address any specific concerns that may arise.

How long will my skin remain red after a facial?

The duration of redness after a facial can vary from person to person. At times you have no redness at all. At times, you can expect the redness to subside within days (usually a day or two.)

If you are concerned about minimizing the duration of redness, there are additional measures we can take. We can incorporate a calming treatment at the end of the facial session, specifically designed to soothe and reduce redness. This can help expedite the recovery process and ensure your skin returns to its normal state more quickly.

Will I experience excessive peeling after the facial?

Peeling after a facial is a common occurrence and completely normal. During the facial treatment, the products used and the techniques applied are designed to target pimples and blemishes, encouraging exfoliation and aiding in drying out the affected areas. This process helps to facilitate the shedding of dead skin cells, ultimately promoting the emergence of new and healthier skin. As a result, temporary peeling or flaking may occur.

The peeling process may last for a few days. Once it subsides, you can expect to reveal a refreshed and revitalized complexion. The temporary peeling is a positive indication that the treatment is working and that your skin is undergoing rejuvenation.

If you experience excessive or prolonged peeling, severe discomfort, or have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to inform us. We will evaluate your skin's response and provide further guidance or adjust your skincare routine accordingly.

In the meantime, keep your skin well-hydrated, moisturized, protect it from excessive sun exposure, and follow our post-facial care instructions.

Remember, the temporary peeling is a part of the rejuvenation process, and with proper care and attention, you'll soon enjoy the benefits of a renewed and radiant complexion.

Can a facial be painful?

The level of discomfort experienced during a facial treatment varies from person to person. Everyone has a different tolerance for pain. In general, the extractions come with some pressure. That may cause discomfort. The presence of infected pimples may also cause some degree of discomfort. However, when dealing with superficial pimples, the process is typically not painful. On the other hand, deep-seated pimples may elicit a certain level of sensitivity or discomfort.

Will a facial extract all of my pimples?

It's important to understand that pimples are not static and can continue to develop due to various factors, including lifestyle and diet. Unhealthy habits require more effort in terms of skincare and more frequent facial treatments, as well as the use of stronger skincare products.

However, it's worth noting that not all types of pimples can be effectively addressed through extraction during a facial. One example is blind pimples, which form underneath the skin and cause pain and inflammation. These types of pimples can be stubborn and challenging to treat. While they may occasionally surface as whiteheads, blackheads, or red bumps, they often require professional attention to prevent further spreading.

Even when extraction is not directly performed, professional treatments can still help by providing anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. It's crucial to approach blind pimples on a case-by-case basis, as each situation is unique.

How long should I wait after a scar mask treatment to do a facial?

Usually you do a facial first. Then, in a few days, sometimes in a week or two, you can begin scar masque treatment (by applying the scar masque kit.) Depending on the skin, you do scar masque treatment once or twice a week. After 5-6 applications you can come for another facial. After the last application, wait 1-2 days until facial. If necessary, 8 hours can be enough.

I applied the scar treatment and derma corrective serum yesterday, and today I'm noticing redness, dryness, and a stinging sensation on my skin. Is this a normal reaction? What should I do?

It is quite common to experience redness, dryness, and a stinging sensation after using the scar treatment. Rest assured, these reactions are part of the normal healing process. In fact, the desired outcome includes the shedding of the scarred skin, so the more peeling, the better. However, it is crucial to avoid sun exposure, as it can aggravate these symptoms. We recommend protecting your skin from the sun and providing gentle care during this period of skin rejuvenation.
